Design of posters and campaign for New Schools for Chicago. New Schools was born out of the belief that a child’s zip code should not determine the quality of education they receive. Since the charter movement started nearly two decades ago, great strides have been made to expand quality school options in Chicago. Edelman partnered with NSC to give a voice to their message. These posters were created as part of a campaign to unlock tomorrow's potential.
Charter Schools pride themselves on their responsiveness to individual needs. By literally "looking forward," we create an instant one-on-one connection to a student's aspirations and holistic development.

Design of the Baxalta Impact Report on the global state of Hemophilia for for policymakers, providers and patient advocacy groups.
Only around 24,000 people in the USA and 400,000 around the world are living with hemophilia. It’s true that it’s a rare disease. But it’s different than most. Because with hemophilia, the rarest thing of all is that it’s completely treatable.
This report reframes the issue: Instead of thinking of hemophilia as a rare disease…what if we thought of it as a rare opportunity?

Design of a poster, flyer and brochure to announce VF's move to its new company headquarters in Almeda, California.
The "Move with Purpose" thematic conveys both the literal act of moving onto a new campus as well as the idea of the kind of movement that VF's brands (JanSport, lucy and The North Face) allow. Combined with "purpose," the meaning grows. VF has thoughtfully designed a campus with the purpose of complementing the local community.
The imagery and textural elements further support this theme in a way that directly relates to VF's brands. The overall feeling is hopeful and bright as well as action oriented.

The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center's growing concern that the Holocaust is in the past and had little connection to the world of today was the catalyst in updating their website. IHMEC's challenge was to attract a greater audience to their museum. They want to appeal to the general public by showing that their museum is important, impactful and relevant to today. The overall task was to create a website that not only told the story of who they are but shed light on the beauty of the museum and all it has to offer.
The interior architecture of the museum plays an important role in this website. The design shows the richness of the historical material and visual texture and how patrons of all ages participate with the exhibits. The website uses a bright color palette and expressive photography to help bring the museum to life on screen. A "flip" functionality on the home page creates an added interest and allows for more of the interior architecture and museum programs to be displayed. Rollovers provide additional information and draw the visitor deeper into the site. The latest tweets are displayed on the home page to create increased conversation through additional social media platforms. Overall, the site lends itself to an ease of navigation for past and potential visitors to the museum. This website is the recipient of the Graphic Design USA American Web Design Award.
Designed wireframes and overall look and feel of the site. Art directed a web developer to ensure the functionality of the site was user-friendly.
